Living in a community for us means helping all of us who share this rural environment to improve our quality of life. For this reason, iSlow aims to promote different initiatives that help evolve the Costa da Morte from different perspectives.
By combining the knowledge of colivers and locals we would like to improve the quality of life of our community, making this a better place and turning it into inspiration for all who visit.
Have you ever considered leaving city life behind and moving to the country, even if it is just for a while? Are you one of those people concerned about your lifestyle’s impact on your health and the world around you?
If you answered yes to any of the two questions, then the idea of moving into a rural coliving space might be an answer.
In this blog post, we share some of the steps we have taken while designing iSlow. These are directly related to the experience we want to offer during your stay at iSlow.
In 2024, we would like to learn more about permaculture, naturopathic nutrition and various practices that will help improve our well-being.
If you are either an expert or just an enthusiast on any topic related to planting, gardening, permaculture or bioconstruction, please, get in touch! We will be happy to discuss ways to collaborate.
Besides a place of life and work and connection with the environment, iSlow aims to be a place of reference for entrepreneurs. Taking advantage of the knowledge that comes to us and expanding it to those who need it is a MUST in our philosophy.
We strongly believe in shared and bidirectional knowledge. Together with our partners we support entrepreneurs. On the one hand, we want to bring them closer to the knowledge and experience of colivers from all over the world. On the other we stimulate them to share skills with the community by teaching.
Are you a young international entrepreneur who wants to learn about entrepreneurship? Want to combine learning and developing your business idea with an inspirational stay at iSlow? Take a look at the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program and contact us. We might be able to collaborate.
Co-living spaces like ours present a unique opportunity for members to share ideas and customs, and language exchanges allow us to learn from one another and communicate more effectively.
If you would like to practise your English, please do not hesitate to contact us.
And if you are thinking about staying with us at iSlow, participating in our language exchanges is a wonderful way to meet the Laxe community, practice your language skills, and become better immersed in the richness of the region.
Below you can find some blog posts about what our colivers and community have experienced so far hiking The Camiño Dos Faros.
Will you help us spread the word by sharing yours?
